Kennelcare is a family owned and operated facility that came to be as a result of the need for top-notch pet care in Columbia, SC. Having had less than happy boarding experiences elsewhere and a background managing an animal emergency facility and working for Board Certified Veterinary Surgeons Dr. Randy Basinger and Dr. Bud Keller in his early career, Owner Dennis Brantley and his wife Ingrid set out to create a best-in class pet care facility.
Our goal is to create the best environment possible for all of our guests. Viewing what we do as resort management, we have created a fun, safe, and professional environment. We have assembled the best staff we could have asked for and as a result, everyone loves to come to work! We have a very special role to play in caring for an extended family that can be quite boisterous about their wants and needs. This type of effort takes a special person and we are blessed to have a staff that works very hard and cares about each of our guests as if they were their own.”
